What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory examinations—covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other areas—following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot potential issues, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and preparation of samples for testing as required.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment tenure.
