Description – What Your Day Will Look Like

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests—covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—all in accordance with established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and take charge of preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection processes and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, contribute to training new employees or students, and champion quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while diligently following all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
• Ensure ongoing certification is maintained throughout employment period.
