• Support specimen acquisitions and prepare samples for further testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all protocols, guide new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the laboratory's quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, orderly workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with a preparation course for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your career here.
