This role is set within a climate-controlled office environment that is designed for both comfort and functionality. As part of the Hospice Center team, you will interact regularly with colleagues and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere that enhances patient care. Daily responsibilities may include completing patient assessments, updating treatment plans, and engaging in teletherapy sessions, all while adhering to established protocols and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) when necessary.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate cultural diversity and consider the unique needs of each patient and their families.

• Continuously monitor progress and effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, adjusting approaches as needed to ensure positive outcomes.

• Maintain timely and accurate treatment records, leveraging up-to-date technology to comply with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.

• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to craft and implement a comprehensive treatment plan focused on desired outcomes.

• Offer guidance and education to students, interns, and other team members, fostering a culture of growth and support within the organization.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations directed by clinical supervisors to promote team development and improve practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position will be on individuals and families affected by cancer. You will engage with patients who are facing a range of emotional challenges related to their diagnosis and treatment journey, necessitating a sensitive and nuanced approach to mental health care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance.
