Requirements *** 24hr unrestricted call to include 4hrs of Gratis ***12hr unrestricted call 0 hours of Gratis *** 12hr restricted call daily no call back Expected start date First day should always be reserved for orientation tasks October 2026 – We do not currently have specific dates to provide so please send the candidate’s availability in the present and we can see if we can work around those dates Provider Type – MD/DO or APC MD/DO Specialty General Surgery/Acute Care Surgery FTE needed 0.5 Daily Shift Standard: 12 hours Expected duration of assignment: Current REQ approval end date: 10/31/2026 Schedule /Shift hours 12-hour call shifts – 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am 24- hour call shifts Type of privileges: Hospital Setting: Inpatient # of beds: 193 beds Call requirement Yes. 12 hours shifts. Monday-Friday 7am-7pm shifts are restricted in house call. 12hr/24hr weekends and holidays are unrestricted. Must have a 10-minute phone response time and must be within 30 minutes of the facility. Rounding admissions or none? Both Patient demographics Level 3 trauma – tertiary hospital ~25 miles Average patients per day Variable Required Procedures Level 3 trauma procedures Required clinical activity in the last 24 months case logs Applicant must provide documentation case list of provision of surgery services 100 cases representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure and date and facility where performed. Will provider work solo? Yes during nights and weekends. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm there will be surgical PA support Licensed Candidate: WA licensed given our target start month is October 2026. Required certifications ACLS EMR EPIC. Proficient User. Additional comments: Provider will be working call in an acute care setting. Shift Info: Day 5x24-Hour 07:00 - 19:00
