Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing application support for Level 3 (L3) issues in both production and non-production environments. This role requires a strong foundation in Java and React, along with expertise in observability, dashboarding, troubleshooting, and issue triaging. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for application issues in production and non-production environments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Utilize Java and React skills to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues effectively.
Implement observability practices to monitor application performance and identify potential issues proactively.
Create and maintain dashboards to visualize application metrics and performance indicators.
Collaborate with development teams to triage issues, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Document troubleshooting processes, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
Participate in root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications in various environments.
Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in React JS is a deal breaker skill.
Strong knowledge of Java programming.
Experience with observability tools and practices.
Ability to create and manage dashboards for application monitoring.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
