Sr Trial Attorney

Nationwide’s Trial Division is hiring a Senior Trial Attorney in the Elmsford / Westchester County area to handle complex, high-exposure litigation across personal and commercial lines. This Role Stands Out

• No billable hour requirements
• Manage cases from start to finish—including trial
• Work with a stable, Fortune 100 company
• Strong internal partnership with claims and legal teams
• Serve as lead counsel on insurance defense matters
• Handle litigation from inception through trial, mediation, or resolution
• Conduct depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
• Collaborate with claims partners and internal stakeholders
• Deliver strong advocacy across general liability, bodily injury, and commercial matters
• 8+ years of civil litigation experience
• Background in insurance defense, general liability, or personal/commercial lines litigation
• Proven trial experience (first-chair or significant courtroom exposure)
• Strong case management and litigation strategy skills
• Active New York Bar admission

The national salary range for Sr Trial Attorney : $138,000.00-$243,000.00

The expected starting salary range for Sr Trial Attorney : $138,000.00 - $206,000.00
