Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering strictly to established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of results, diagnose issues, perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments, and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for analysis, as required.
• Create thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff members, and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in the lab.
• Keep a clean and safe workspace while adhering to both regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health, as well as preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within a year of hiring.
• Maintain certification throughout your employment tenure.
