Pediatric Physical Therapist - Part-time

Pediatric Physical TherapistWe are seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric therapy, particularly with children who have complex medical needs. This role involves assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function for our patients, while closely collaborating with physiatrists and other healthcare professionals. The therapist will provide treatment for 10-12 patients per day, ranging in age from 0 to 21 years.Key responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments of children with severe medical disabilities to identify physical therapy needs, developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, goals, and family input, providing treatment for 10-12 patients daily, addressing a wide range of physical therapy needs for children and young adults aged 0-21, collaborating with physiatrists to coordinate care, discussing patient progress, and refining treatment approaches, using evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing physical abilities, mobility, and independence, working alongside a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care, educating families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support their child's development at home, documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, staying current with best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development, and participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to share knowledge and enhance team effectiveness.Hourly rate range: $43.59/Hr. To $48.72/Hr.
