Business Development Representative – Inside Sales

$60,000–$65,000 Base Salary + Bonus Opportunities

Zing Recruiting is partnering with a leading fire protection and life safety company seeking a Business Development Representative – Inside Sales to expand existing customer relationships and drive additional product and service sales throughout New Jersey and surrounding markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with consultative sales experience who enjoys working with business owners, property managers, contractors, and other key decision-makers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell fire protection and security products and services.
• Conduct outbound sales calls and customer consultations.
• Present customized solutions, including:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Monitoring solutions
  • Access control systems
  • CCTV and video surveillance
  • Fire detection and notification systems
• Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and pipeline updates in the CRM.
• Stay current on industry trends, products, and technology advancements.

• B2B sales experience required.
• Experience selling fire protection, security, low-voltage, or other technical solutions preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to developing business.
• Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools.
