Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Ohio, requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS, and proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations on night shifts.

Details

• Work in a 31-bed mixed acuity PCU within a hospital setting
• Unit primarily supports medicine services, caring for stepdown and med/surg patients
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations required in this unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Floating required within the OSU organization as needed
• Documentation via Epic; Omnicell used for medication management

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or relevant RN experience required
• Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations
• Ability to take charge on night shifts

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who still require a 30-day break)
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned on night shift
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
