About This Role The Per Diem Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for providing safe, competent quality care to a designated group of patients, utilizing nursing theory and research. Highlights Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 5 West MICU - MSH Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift Pay: $85.9387/hour What You'll Do Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and nursing process. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) with matriculation in a BSN program acceptable Experience Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice required Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in New York State BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred NRP certification preferred PALS certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
