Area Manager Fast Casual Restaurant Chain (Greater Pittsburgh Region)

Role Description The Area Manager for a fast casual restaurant chain will oversee multiple locations in the Greater Pittsburgh Region in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role is responsible for leading and supporting general managers, ensuring consistent operational standards, and driving guest satisfaction across all assigned units. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, managing labor and food costs, reviewing store-level metrics, and implementing company initiatives. The Area Manager will visit restaurants regularly to coach teams, ensure compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards, and address service or quality concerns. The role also involves participating in hiring and talent development, conducting performance reviews, and collaborating with senior leadership on regional growth, marketing, and community outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leading at least 5 Restaurants
• Demonstrated skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of maintaining high guest experience standards.
• Experience in Hiring and team development, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining restaurant staff and managers.
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, deliver feedback, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Background in Food & Beverage operations, including knowledge of fast casual service models, food safety, and quality control.
• Previous multi-unit or high-volume restaurant management experience, preferably in fast casual or quick service concepts.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial reports, labor scheduling, and inventory management to meet performance and profitability targets.
• Ability to work on-site across the Greater Pittsburgh Region, with reliable transportation and flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is beneficial.
