Dual Modality Ct/X-Ray Tech

Location: Southampton, NY and East Hampton, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x9.5 schedule with two shifts:

• 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30 min break) for 3 days
• 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM (30 min break) for 1 day

Job Description: The Dual Modality Ct Tech/X-Ray Tech is responsible for producing computerized tomographic radiographs and performing diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations. The candidate should maintain patient confidence and trust, be capable of working independently, and demonstrate proficiency in Cat Scan Imaging Exams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and complete requested imaging examinations in a timely manner while observing radiation safety standards.
• Prepare and enter written documentation such as informed patient consent and patient chart documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Assess the physical needs of adult and geriatric patients.
• Address special needs for various age groups and accommodate patients with challenges.
• Monitor and check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
• Observe bio-safety and radiation safety rules and regulations at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from a program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification and NYSDOH License required
• BLS certification
