Senior Payroll Specialist Salary: $90-100k+ depending on experience Location: Westport | Hybrid, 2 days onsite Why This Senior Payroll Specialist Opportunity? * Clear path for growth as the company continues to grow * High-visibility role supporting a rapidly expanding organization that has more than doubled its U.S. employee population through acquisitions * Opportunity to work directly with an experienced and supportive leadership team * Collaborative culture with regular team events, celebrations, and employee appreciation activities * Hybrid schedule - 1-2 days onsite Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist: * Process regular and off cycle U.S. payroll, including collecting inputs, performing calculations, and ensuring timely, accurate payments. * Ensure all payroll transactions comply with internal policies, federal and state regulations, and tax requirements, including timely tax payments and filings. * Serve as a backup to team members and support knowledge sharing across the payroll function. * Maintain and enhance process documentation; recommend improvements to boost accuracy, efficiency, and system optimization. * Provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly and professionally to employee and stakeholder inquiries. * Partner with cross-functional teams to support payroll-related initiatives, reporting, and projects. Preferred Experience of the Senior Payroll Specialist: * Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management * 5-7+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience * Strong understanding of multijurisdictional payroll tax laws and regulations * Working knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll * Demonstrated ability to audit and reconcile payroll data for accuracy and compliance * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively #LI-GW1 #LI-Hybrid #INJUL2026
