Manufacturing Operations – Production Supervisor – Location: Vandalia, OH (onsite)

Join a leading global electronics manufacturer. The Production Supervisor leads teams to safely and efficiently produce high‑quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Drive department performance metrics such as scrap reduction, build performance, productivity, and on‑time delivery.
• Assign and manage staffing resources to support production goals.
• Review and maintain production documentation, work instructions, standard work, and process records.
• Manage router updates, engineering change reviews, and production process documentation.
• Support process qualification activities including IQ and PQ execution.
• Maintain and update manufacturing data and production systems.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using problem‑solving methodologies.
• Communicate daily performance expectations, business updates, and improvement opportunities to production teams.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and non‑conforming products are properly contained and addressed.
• Complete production reporting and data entry accurately and on time.
• Hold employees accountable in a fair, consistent, and professional manner.
• Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Assist in the creation and deployment of training programs.
• Act as backup for other supervisors as needed.
• Support all safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone diagrams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience leading Gemba Kaizen or continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP or production systems.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and production documentation.
• Experience supporting automotive or high‑volume manufacturing operations.
