Medical Assistant - Certified
This position supports a Hematology and Oncology clinic. Duties include rooming patients and assisting with back-office flow. Back-office flow work may include transcribing orders into Epic, messaging patients, abstracting and prepping charts for providers, and making reminder calls. Max providers per day: 2. Max number of patients per day: 20. This role does not require weekend or holiday shifts. There is no call or standby requirement. The pharmacy is not open 24/7. Charting system utilized is Epic.
