About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to lead its global accounting organization. The successful candidate will be the principal accounting officer, responsible for the integrity of consolidated financial statements, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This executive will also oversee global accounting operations, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation, and will be a key interface with the Audit Committee and independent registered public accounting firm. The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in technical accounting, external reporting, and internal control, and the ability to partner with various functions to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting in a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction manufacturing environment. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, an active CPA license, and at least 15 years of progressive accounting leadership experience. A background in manufacturing or industrial products, particularly with standard costing and inventory valuation, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a Big Four public accounting foundation, deep U.S. GAAP technical expertise, and a proven track record in SEC reporting and internal control. Experience in a global, multi-entity environment, as well as with ERP and consolidation platforms, is also highly valued. The role demands a pragmatic, high-integrity leader who can balance technical rigor with business practicality and is adept at building and developing accounting talent across distributed teams.
