Step into a rewarding role working with young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-3 educational setting. This is a direct hire opportunity for passionate SLP professionals who are dedicated to supporting children's communication skills during their formative school years. Situated near Marrero, LA, this position welcomes both experienced clinicians with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY), as there is strong supervision in place to help new graduates thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
  • SLP-CCC or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with readiness for supervision
  • Previous experience or a genuine interest in working with K-3 or pediatric populations
  • Strong collaboration skills for coordinating with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Commitment to a student-centered approach and the ability to individualize therapy plans

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective speech and language therapy services to K-3 students
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
  • Partner closely with classroom teachers and special education teams to provide comprehensive support
  • Maintain clear records of student progress and document intervention outcomes
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process and offer guidance for at-home support
  • Participate in professional development and school team meetings as required
