Ideal candidates will have:

• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Relevant state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, especially ages K-3
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and direct therapy with young children
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
• Delivering therapy services to students in a K-3 school environment, both individually and in small groups
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating closely with educators and families
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services rendered
• Staying current with best practices and continuing education in the field
