Join Our Caring Community The Receptionist 1 welcomes patients and offers administrative support within a physician practice or center. The Receptionist 1 receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors to attend to all callers/visitors promptly. Location: Conviva Senior Primary Care office located at: 6182 Dunbarton Oak Dr., Ste: B, Corpus Christi, TX. 78414 Reporting to: Supervisor, Center Administration Job Responsibilities Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs. Take and distribute accurate messages. Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Schedule appointments, manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules. Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Update patient accounts correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit. Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information. Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials. Help with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred but will consider candidates with a Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers. Excellent customer service Team player We consider this role patient-facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.
