Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a float position in a large hospital setting. The role involves providing critical care across multiple units, including MS, Tele, PCU, Overflow units, and PACU, with the flexibility to float as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in ICU and float to ancillary units such as MS, Tele, PCU, and Overflow units.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and perform EKG exams, passing required assessments on the first day.
• Manage PA lines and perform related procedures with proficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and respond effectively to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a large hospital environment.
• Valid California RN license in active status at the time of submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Must have PA line experience; assessment during interview.
• Able to work night shifts from 19:00 to 7:30, including weekends.
• Willingness to float across designated units and flexible schedule.
