Head of Influencer Marketing & Brand Engagement

Remedy Science

Remedy is building the next great clinical skincare brand, making highly effective, multi-active products without the irritation, tradeoffs, or guesswork. We're a small, fast-moving team that cares deeply about the science behind what we make and the people we make it for. We just launched in Target nationwide and are focused on supporting rapid business growth across DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Retail. At Remedy, you'll have real ownership from day one. You'll work alongside our founding team, including a board-certified dermatologist with 20 million followers, on problems that span brand, product, retail, and growth. We're looking for leaders who want to build a brand at the stage where everything they do matters. We believe that people are the most important part of any business, and we are seeking great people who will meaningfully shape the business as we scale. Role Overview We are looking for a culture and community-obsessed Head of Influencer Marketing & Brand Engagement to lead the team that will scale both our creator ecosystem and brand community. You will own the full influencer ecosystem including mass seeding, affiliate management, TikTok Shop, community engagement and paid partnerships. You will be responsible for nurturing our community to generate awareness and love for Remedy across channels. You will also be a pivotal player in our paid growth engine, sourcing content that turns into high-performing ads and briefing creators with data-driven insights from what worked in previous content. The ideal candidate blends strong qualitative and quantitative skills, turning authentic relationships into measurable GMV, organic advocacy, and durable brand equity. What You’ll Own Creator and Influencer Relations Seeding & PR Strategy Lead our internal community team to operate and scale the seeding program across monthly product launches and re-animations. Build the strategy behind tiered seeding across micro and VIP creators. You'll own the full seeding pipeline, 2,000+ PR boxes per month via ShopMy, personalized opt-ins, and TikTok Shop (on and off platform). You'll have a clear point of view on who we're targeting, who's posting, and control access to the seeding list across launches and platforms. Paid Influencer Partnerships Identify and negotiate deals across influencer tiers, with an eye for partners who deliver outsized return, whether through audience engagement, creative quality, newness, or authentic connection to Remedy. Source creators specific to product launches and keep proven partners activated on an evergreen basis. Build a disruptive paid influencer strategy that drives measurable traffic to Target. Own affiliate economics, commission structures, and platform negotiations across ShopMy and other tools. Dermatologist & Medical Influencer Relations Build and manage relationships with dermatologist and medical professional influencers, a uniquely important channel for Remedy given our clinical positioning. Partner with Dr. Shah to identify, vet, and activate derm creators who can speak credibly to our formulations and efficacy. This requires a different playbook than traditional influencer, longer relationship arcs, sensitivity to medical credibility, and an understanding of what dermatologists care about when they put their name behind a product. Content, Community and TikTok Shop Paid Content & Creative Source organic and paid content for media support on an ongoing basis. Apply learnings from previous rounds to inform creative briefs and content selection, continuously raising the bar on what performs. TikTok Shop Lead our TikTok Shop team to drive daily growth through lives, target plan outreach, contests, seeding, and other platform-specific tactics. Ensure TikTok Shop activity is aligned with broader brand efforts and that TikTok ambassadors are being nurtured and developed. Community Strategy Build and scale a brand community program that transforms customers into advocates — across social channels, SMS/email groups, loyalty programs, and in-person events and webinars. Operations, Measurement & Team Measurement & Reporting Own the attribution framework across seeding, paid influencer, and TikTok Shop. Define KPIs, build reporting cadences for leadership, and use performance data to continuously optimize channel mix and creator selection. Budget Management Manage the full influencer and seeding budget. Allocate spend across tiers, channels, and campaigns, and make tradeoff decisions quarterly based on performance. Team Building Hire, develop, and structure the influencer marketing function as we scale. Today that means leading a community manager and TikTok Shop team; over time, you'll build out the team to match our growth. Competitive Intelligence Stay on top of what's working in the influencer space, especially across clinical and sensitive skin brands. Track emerging creators, formats, and platform shifts to keep Remedy ahead. Success Metrics Seeding-to-Post Conversion Rate Of the boxes shipped monthly, what percentage generate organic content? Influencer-Attributed Revenue Total revenue driven by influencer activity across paid partnerships, affiliate, TikTok Shop, and seeding, tracked through affiliate links, promo codes, and platform attribution. Community Growth & Repeat Advocacy Rate Net new community members (across SMS, social, loyalty) combined with the percentage of creators and community members who post or engage more than once. Requirements Experience: 6–8+ years in influencer marketing and/or community management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a DTC or Omnichannel brand (Beauty or CPG preferred). Skill Set: Proven track record building and scaling both influencer programs (paid partnerships, affiliates, seeding) and brand communities. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical mindset—ability to build dashboards, manage budgets, and drive strategic decisions using data. Tools: Fluency with community platforms, affiliate networks, whitelisting/allowlisting, and paid amplification tools.
