BLS ACLS PALS Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 50 cardiac monitored and an 8 Rapid Treatment Area. Number of Staff: 120. Type of Staff: Day Shift Charge Nurse, 23 RNs, Emergency Department Technicians, Medics. Night Shift Charge Nurse, 20 RNs, Emergency Department Technicians, Medics. Patient Ratios: 4:1. Type of Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring. EMR: Meditech. Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Candidates with the following skills will be considered first. TNCC ENPC Previous experience in facility preferred. Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Typical functions of an Emergency Department. Best Personality Fit: Positive, teamwork-oriented, flexible. Floating Areas: None. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire: navy. Weekends and On Call: Must be available on weekends. No on-call required.
