Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - TNCC Description: General information about the unit: The unit has 24 beds and a fast track area. Staffing varies by shift and includes a charge nurse and several nurses, with additional support from techs and paramedics. Day Shift typically includes 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses, depending on the time of day. Night Shift typically includes 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses, depending on the time of day. Patient ratios are 4:1. The Electronic Medical Record system in use is Meditech. Shift specifics: All shifts are variable. Day shifts can start at 7 AM, 9 AM, or 11 AM. Evening shifts can start at 11 AM, 1 PM, or 3 PM. Night shifts begin at 7 PM. Skill Set: Candidates must possess critical thinking skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic. An outgoing personality is preferred. Dress Code: Scrubs must be navy. Weekend obligations: Four weekend shifts are required per schedule. There is no on-call requirement.
