Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Long Beach, CA. The Insurance Agent will consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their coverage needs, present appropriate insurance products, and provide detailed policy explanations. Responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems. The role involves ongoing client service such as responding to inquiries, handling policy changes, assisting with billing questions, and coordinating with carriers when needed. The Insurance Agent will also contribute to meeting sales targets, participating in local outreach, and supporting a collaborative office environment. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to close deals ethically and consistently. Strong knowledge of Insurance products and coverage options, with the capacity to explain policies clearly to clients. Foundational understanding of Finance as it relates to premiums, deductibles, and policy comparisons. Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and professional problem-solving. Relevant state insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one within a specified timeframe). Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfort working with office software, CRM or agency management systems, and basic data entry. Ability to work on-site full-time in Long Beach, CA, managing multiple client interactions and tasks each day.
