Data EngineerOur client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Strategy team supporting the development of a strategic data platform for their Capital Markets and Securities groups. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.Location: Charlotte, NCPay Range: $55/hour on W2What's the Job?Design and develop scalable data solutions on cloud platforms, primarily Azure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish reference data systems for securities and pricing data.Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and integrity.Develop APIs and integrate various data sources to support business needs.Contribute to the ongoing modernization of the organization's data infrastructure and strategy.What's Needed?Extensive experience as a Data Engineer with proficiency in Azure cloud services.Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience in API development using frameworks like FastAPI.Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databricks, and related Azure data services.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.Knowledge of financial instruments, market data, and experience in financial services is a plus.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work on innovative projects within a forward-thinking organization.Collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic environment.Enhance your skills with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies.Contribute to strategic initiatives that shape the future of financial data management.Be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace committed to your professional growth.
