Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are stored and retrieved efficiently. Responsibilities- Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move, locate, and stack products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
