Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished pharmaceutical sales and business development executive with strong industry relationships and a proven track record selling digital HCP engagement platforms, peer-to-peer collaboration solutions, or advisory board services to pharmaceutical companies. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with key pharmaceutical decision-makers, identifying commercial opportunities, and driving revenue growth for our expanding portfolio of HCP engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage established pharmaceutical industry relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical brand teams, commercial leadership, HCP marketing, Medical Affairs, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Position HealthCourse's digital engagement solutions to address clients' strategic objectives and evolving HCP engagement needs.
• Lead consultative sales discussions, translating client challenges into customized engagement solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling client proposals and innovative engagement strategies.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently achieving revenue and business development objectives.
• Identify emerging industry trends, competitive opportunities, and client needs to inform commercial strategy and product development.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of successful pharmaceutical industry sales or business development experience, preferably selling solutions or services to pharmaceutical companies.
• Established relationships with pharmaceutical industry decision-makers and demonstrated ability to convert those relationships into new business.
• Proven success selling HCP engagement, digital healthcare platforms, peer-to-peer collaboration, medical communications, or related pharmaceutical marketing solutions.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing complex, consultative sales.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial strategies, HCP engagement models, and relevant industry stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate the value of innovative technology-enabled solutions to senior pharmaceutical executives.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and interested in contributing to the growth of an emerging business division.
