Facilities Maintenance TechnicianPro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician for a client in Auburn, IN. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and facilities, troubleshooting issues, completing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and properly functioning manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting problems, performing repairs, and keeping facility operations running efficiently.Shift and Compensation1st Shift: 6:00 AM–6:15 PM (3-2-2 schedule)Compensation is from 52,000 USD to 72,800 USD per yearJob DutiesPerform maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment and facility-related systems in a safe, timely, and professional mannerTroubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and complete necessary repairsConduct daily walkthrough inspections of equipment and assigned areasPerform preventative maintenance during scheduled run-time and downtime periodsAssist with troubleshooting production and facility-related issues as neededFollow maintenance instructions and priorities provided by the Maintenance SupervisorDocument work through work orders and accurately track time and completed repairsCommunicate equipment and maintenance issues to supervisors, staff, and operators through verbal and written updatesMaintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipmentSupport a team-oriented maintenance environmentFollow all safety procedures, including LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental policiesRespond to internal and external maintenance requests in a timely mannerHelp identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and overall facility operationsBackground ProfileHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in maintenance or a related technical field preferred2+ years of industrial maintenance experienceAbility to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issuesHands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem solvingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license required for business travelRobotic programming knowledge preferred, but not requiredPLC logic troubleshooting knowledge preferred, but not required
