Clinical Laboratory Technician - Generalist

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician for a 3rd shift position at a Wisconsin hospital. The role involves performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring quality control in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established laboratory criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
• Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper operation
• Perform preventive maintenance and document quality control procedures
• Report accurate and timely test results and maintain safe work environment

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science
• One or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience as MLT
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and computers
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
