Primary Objectives of Position:

• Maintain office efficiency in a professional orientated manner
• Help achieve the cooperative's missions and goals
• Perform all tasks with outstanding customer service

Responsibilities of the Position:

• Manage communications in a professional courteous manner and solve basic customer questions/issues.
• Greet walk in customers with friendly and courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively, keep accurate records, perform administrative tasks.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and creates a favorable image of the cooperative.
• Possess basic knowledge of the functions of all departments to properly assist with customer questions.
• Handle correspondence, filing, and miscellaneous clerical work as assigned.
• Follow up on all customer requests for invoices, billing questions, statement copies and other information.
• Maintain office equipment and keep work area neat and clean.
• Process daily accounts receivable tasks.
• Attention to detail/accuracy on all items handled.
• Prepare daily deposit.
• Process and reconcile daily online payment file.
• Ability to work on a team.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and have proficient typing skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Prior bookkeeping experience or education is preferred.
