About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as its chief executive and strategic leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the organization's mission, vision, and goals, while ensuring long-term sustainability. This role involves providing overall direction for programming, operations, and community engagement, as well as maintaining financial stewardship and compliance with all regulations. The Executive Director will work in partnership with the Board of Trustees to set organizational priorities, inspire and develop staff, and cultivate key stakeholder relationships. Essential duties include strategic leadership, financial management, operational oversight, human capital management, and external relations. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company must possess transformational executive leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead complex organizations and drive growth. Financial and fundraising mastery is essential, including a successful track record in generating diverse revenue streams. The role also requires a strong focus on community development, stakeholder engagement, and a visionary presence that represents the organization's mission and values. Desired skills include organizational and talent management, operational leadership, strategic and market acumen, and a commitment to cultural fluency and equity. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, and innovation, and will demonstrate a deep commitment to the arts and cultural equity. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
