Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation facility setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–8 in accordance with facility guidelines
• Float between units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Work weekends as required by facility needs, with a minimum of every other weekend
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel rates
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with floating between multiple units or sister facilities
• Experience with 48-hour shift scheduling
