Litigation Legal Assistant

A highly established national litigation firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys within a sophisticated litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished legal support professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to complex litigation, sophisticated corporate clients, and experienced trial attorneys . The practice represents some of the country's largest and most well-known companies in high-risk litigation and business disputes. The litigation team has significant experience handling matters nationwide, giving legal support professionals the opportunity to work alongside attorneys on sophisticated and high-profile cases. Key Responsibilities Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents File documents electronically and traditionally with state, federal, and appellate courts in accordance with applicable court rules Maintain attorney calendars and monitor court deadlines Arrange meetings, conference calls, depositions, mediations, and other litigation activities Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, vendors, and other external contacts Assist with attorney billing, time entry, and related administrative functions Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, and case files Coordinate business travel and expense reimbursements Provide support to additional attorneys and team members as workload demands Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of litigation legal assistant or legal secretary experience Law firm experience required; large law firm experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with electronic court filing systems for state and federal courts Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and sound judgment Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 – $95,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
