Job Description

Staff Accountant - Agribusiness

Our client is a well-established CPA firm located in Orange County with a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction/Real Estate, Non-Profit.

Summary:

Looking for Staff Accountant individuals who are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for their professional futures. The company offers a work environment that is stimulating, challenging, and fun; plus, you'll get the chance to work with bright, highly motivated people.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with seniors, managers and/or partners on various projects
Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
Prepare financial statements with disclosures
Prepare federal and state tax returns
Develop self-learning and problem solving skills
Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA candidate preferred
Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational techniques
Highly motivated
Eager to learn
Integrity and Confidentiality
Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
