As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our already amazing accounting team with a highly motivated Staff Accountant who will work directly with the Corporate Controller and gain exposure to the financial operations of multiple dealerships and departments across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, solving problems, leveraging technology, and taking ownership of projects that make a real impact on the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities will vary based on business needs and special projects but may include:

• Manage and reconcile American Express expense activity across multiple dealerships and departments
• Ensure supporting receipts and documentation are received and maintained in accordance with company policies
• Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for improved controls and efficiencies
• Review and analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management analyses
• Build, maintain, and improve complex Excel workbooks and reporting tools
• Analyze large data sets and present findings to management
• Assist with audits, process improvements, and system implementations
• Support special projects for executive leadership and dealership management teams
• Utilize technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and workflow automation
• Work closely with accounting, payroll, operations, and dealership leadership teams

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable taking direction and collaborating with multiple departments and leaders
• Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable learning and utilizing new technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus but not required
• Reynolds and Reynolds knowledge a plus.
• Experience with AI tools, business intelligence platforms, or workflow automation tools is highly desirable
