Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in York, ME where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. You will provide advanced respiratory care, manage complex life support systems, participate in emergency response teams, and deliver patient and family education in accordance with physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RRT in a hospital setting.
• Experience with ICU patients and mechanical ventilator management, including pressure and volume control and continuous ventilation modes.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating on a cardiac arrest or code team.
• Polysomnography experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
• Shift hours: 6:00 pm to 6:30 am.
• Night shift schedule with variable days of the week.
• Must be able to work in a hospital acute care environment and manage ICU-level patients.
