Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - York Hospital.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with ICU patients is required. - Must have experience in a hospital setting

Unit Details: - Evaluates and participates in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures for patients with respiratory-related difficulties in accordance with physician orders. - Provides advanced level of care, assessment, and education in respiratory therapy. - Evaluates, monitors, and controls complex life support systems that ventilate acute or chronically ill patients. - Performs complex respiratory therapy mechanical ventilator procedures, including pressure and volume control and other modes of continuous ventilation. - Participates as a member of the cardiac arrest team and responds to emergencies.

Shift & Scheduling: - Variable days. - 6:00 pm to 6:30 am - Holiday Coverage: No - No Call Requirement

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
