Maintenance Technician with Carpentry Experience (Temp-to-Hire)

LaborMAX Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Carpentry Experience for a growing client in Newberry, SC . This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on professional looking to join a company that values quality workmanship and offers the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Perform general building and facility maintenance, as well as machine maintenance.
Complete carpentry projects including repairs, flooring, framing, trim work, doors, windows, and cabinetry
Repair and maintain flooring, drywall, ceilings, and other building components
Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests
Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with facility improvements and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience required
Carpentry experience required
Working knowledge of hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
Basic machine maintenance experience
Ability to read a tape measure and follow work orders
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
