Production Associate

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. Production Associate Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 5:00PM Temporary possible Temp to Hire KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains cleanliness of mill operating areas in a safe and productive condition such that mill waste does not impede mill safety and environmental goals as well as production equipment. Perform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 10-12 hours/day in a loud/noisy Work in a non-climate-controlled mill, with temperatures that can be higher in the summer and lower in the winter Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in the safety program. Work as a team to meet safety, production, quality goals and complete tasks Any other tasks assigned and/or filling in other Prosperity Plywood team roles as required REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, production, warehouse, farming or military environment. Ability to work in a hot, humid, cold and/or noisy industrial environment. Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for at least twelve (10) hours a day Perform housekeeping functions to aid in keeping machinery running smoothly, reduce safety and fire hazards while maintaining environmental controls and other tasks as assigned. All interested applicants must demonstrate a pattern of safe behavior; good attendance and disciplinary record; initiative; effective communication, customer focus, and problem-solving skills. In addition, the ideal candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, be a self-starter and work independently. Basic knowledge of computers is always a plus.
