This position is located at our division in Robbinsville, NJ in our clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped, modern shop. At this location, we specialize in short-run manufacturing of custom machinery and machine components.What will you be doing?This position will be a key member of the UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) team. Duties include:CNC Operations, both Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers.Program, edit, setup, and run parts on machine independentlyOperate multiple machines, depending on the taskGibbs programing experience a plusHAAS, Mazak and Fanuc experience a plusBe able to complete in-process inspections in open setup (micrometers, calipers, thread measurements) and optical comparator (angles and overlays)Be able to inspect parts coming off CNC machines for visual defects and workmanshipExperience interpreting blueprints, basic knowledge of GD&TDeburr and clean components before & after machining operations where neededWhat skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?This position will require the following skillsets and experience:Must have good mechanical skills and experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar roleHigh standard of quality and efficiencyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAny milling/turning MFG experience would be beneficial.Solid knowledge of shop mathematicsMust be a team players, able to multitask and prioritize accordinglyBasic PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)Must be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy objectsMust be a US CitizenMust have a valid driver's licenseHigh school diploma required; college degree not required but beneficialPast or present military personnel are encouraged to applyUTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
