SOCCER SHOTS QUEENS Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve. THE JOB Looking for part-time work where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Sports Coach! Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30 to 45-minute sessions for kids ages 18 months - 8 years old throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. And you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our children will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. WHAT YOU GET Compensation: $20 - $30 per hour Flexible hours Once you are assigned to a location based on your schedule, the expectation is that you are committed to that time, place, and programming for the duration. Great work environment coach team events, great culture. Paid Field Training REQUIREMENTS The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria: Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.Genuine passion for children and sports. Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal Must be at least 18 years of age Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible. Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8. Access to reliable transportation. Own vehicle access (preferred but required) Be comfortable commuting to different schools, parks, and venues where sessions take place. Ability to handle, manage, and carry equipment for sessions from one site to another. Ability to stand, jog, and model skills. Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.
