Personal Banker

Position Overview As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Burbank, IL (4900 W 87th St, Burbank, IL 60459). You will acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, manage the customer experience, and collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet. Key Responsibilities Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and loyalty. Conduct proactive sales conversations via outbound calling, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions. Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks. Maintain a heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent; at least 3+ years of relevant banking experience needed. Knowledge of banking products, digital tools, and post‑sales processes. Strong customer‑focus skills with the ability to create customized solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a matrixed environment. Proactive sales and prospecting mindset. Problem‑solving skills and effective risk assessment capabilities. Work‑day experience and familiarity with regulatory compliance (CFTC, FDIC, SEC). Must pass background checks required by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Pay & Incentives Base Salary: $45,375.00 – $75,625.00 (varies by geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education).
