We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team in Dallas, Texas in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing accurate, timely financial work. The role will support daily payable operations, maintain organized records, and help ensure invoices and payments are processed efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Review incoming invoices, verify supporting documentation, and enter payable transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving records to confirm quantities, pricing, and approval status before processing.
• Assign proper account coding to invoices and expense items in accordance with internal accounting guidelines.
• Prepare and process scheduled payment runs, including checks and other approved disbursement methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and work with internal teams or suppliers to resolve outstanding issues.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting records to promote audit readiness and efficient document retrieval.
• Process employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies and established approval procedures.
• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting systems to track activity, support reporting needs, and monitor payable details in a high-volume setting.• Associate degree in Accounting is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of invoice coding, purchase order processing, and three-way matching procedures.
• Experience handling check runs, expense reports, and large volumes of data entry with consistent accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, and accounting or reporting software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to meet deadlines.
