QUALIFICATIONS

Operate all equipment; stock ingredients, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete paperwork; clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication skills: ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; verbal communication with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential functions and skills: accurate and quick math; correct monetary change; verbal, writing and telephone skills; motor coordination for precise movements; enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking: short distances and durations on various surfaces; height of work surfaces 36‑48 inches. Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; cases stacked onto shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce and trays of pizza dough; weights ranging from 3 lbs to 30 lbs. Pushing: moving trays on dollies, pushing or pulling. Climbing: stairs or ladder to perform maintenance. Additional job details: stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand tasks, machine tools.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to customer door. Deliver flyers and door hangers.

REQUIRES

Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes and other sites while carrying product.

OTHER PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Carrying during delivery: pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing. Driving: deliveries within designated area; several deliveries per shift.
