General Manager – 2247 Warwick Ave Job Type: Full‑time Category: Store General Manager About the Role You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures by 100% of the time, expecting the same from the crew. Additional responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, image and standards, customer service, attendance, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. Responsibilities Manage cost and inventory controls. Oversee cash control and ensure accurate monetary transactions. Handle customer relations and maintain high quality service. Staff and schedule team members. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards. Drive profitability through effective operations. Qualifications Operate all store equipment. Stock ingredients and maintain inventory records. Prepare product and process telephone orders. Complete paperwork accurately. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility daily. Strong communication skills to give written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills for handling monetary change. Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements. Ability to enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen. Essential Functions & Skills Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Make correct monetary change. Process orders verbally and over the phone. Coordinate hand movements for precise tasks. Enter orders using computer or touch screen. Physical Requirements Stand for most tasks. Walk short distances on ceramic tile or linoleum. Lifting: cases up to 50 pounds; bulk deliveries. Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough. Pushing/pulling up to 7.5 pounds. Climbing stairs or ladders occasionally. Forward bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching. Eye-hand coordination during repetitive tasks. Driving Specific Duties Deliver product by car to customers. Deliver flyers and door hangers. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record. Access to an insured vehicle.
