Physician - Hematology Oncology Atlantic City

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center is looking for a Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician to provide coverage at both Atlantic City and Galloway, NJ.

Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart
1. Atlantic City Location: 1925 Pacific Ave Atlantic City, NJ 08401
2. Galloway Location: 110 E Jimmie Leeds Rd, Galloway, NJ 08205, United States

Coverage needed due to growth in outpatient volume and part-time inpatient provider being sick
Dates of coverage: 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month from January through July
Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
Practice distribution: 49% hematology, 51% oncology
5.6 physicians in the practice
Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions
8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff communication
Average outpatient (clinic/office) patient load: 45 per day
Average hospital patient load: 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups)
Clinical areas: Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting
Hospital trauma level: Atlantic City - Level 1
EMR system: Cerner
Required procedures: Inpatient consultative services

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
