Job Responsibilities Avery Dennison is seeking a Team Manager (Production Supervisor) to join the Cleveland Films Facility in Mentor, OH. The successful candidate will lead, train, develop, motivate, and coach team members. The Team Manager provides front-line leadership for Safety, Quality, Service, Productivity, Cost Reduction, and People objectives within an assigned area and collaborates with Plant Leadership to ensure daily operational efficiency and the execution of key business objectives. Lead on-site with a strong safety presence; oversee safety initiatives, conduct monthly safety meetings, daily safety huddles, 5S activities, housekeeping, and recycling programs. Track and manage key operational measures (service, quality, productivity, cost, safety); provide feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain quality control processes to ensure products/services meet standards; drive improvements; manage production flow; collaborate with other functions to reduce waste and complexity. Job Details Location: Mentor, OH (On-Site) Schedule: Rotating 12-hour DuPont work schedule Reports to: Value Stream Manager Supervises: Front-line staff within the area Minimum Education & Qualifications Minimum Education: High School/GED Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical/mechanical experience with ongoing development. Leadership Experience: 4+ years in manufacturing or similar complex organization with strong floor presence. People Management: Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team performing complex manufacturing tasks. Operational Execution: Strong customer focus, communication, planning, and coordination; proactive problem-solving and decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Able to analyze data for daily operations and design improvement strategies; familiarity with Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) Operating Principles is preferred. Additional Information Salary range: $75,300 - $112,448 per year (varies by factors such as skills, experience, education, training, and location).
