Customer Service Representative - Onsite

Customer Service Representative Genesis10 is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract to hire, on-site position with a Leading Technology Services Provider located in Columbus, OH. Compensation: $19.00 per hour, W2 Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. This role focuses on assisting callers with questions regarding their mobile devices, including troubleshooting the device and its setup and provisioning, often coordinating with service providers and technicians. There are multiple shift options available, including 4x10 and 5x8 schedules to cover daytime and evening hours. Key Responsibilities: Interact with customers via telephone, email, or online chat to provide support and information on products or services Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services Assist callers with any questions regarding their mobile devices Troubleshoot devices and their setup/provisioning, coordinating with service providers and technicians Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forward to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff Coordinate the efforts of service providers, IT Help Desks, MDM Administrators, and customers to maintain service expectations Act as an intermediary to prevent "up-selling" by service providers Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer's problems and concerns Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments Perform data entry, administrative support, and clerical duties Perform other related duties as assigned Primary Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Six (6) months or more experience with Customer Service Basic computer/smartphone skills Experience working with wireless devices Good written and verbal communication skills Must be able to pass a security clearance, if necessary Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
